Euastrum neogutwinskii Van Westen & Coesel 2020
Very similar to Euastrum tumoriferum in appearance but differs in a greater Apex/B ratio. A variable species particularly in the shape of the lateral lobes. The Dutch finds have been in acidic habitats but here in the Outer Hebrides they have been found in circumneutral waters.
