Tortitaenia bahusiensis (Nordstedt & Lütkemüller) Coesel
A rare species found in areas where the habitat can dry out such as ephemeral pools, aerophytic, wet rocks, etc. Cells have two large pyrenoids (recently divided cells occasionally show one). The apices of the chloroplasts often show a red pigentation.
